Returns & Refunds Policy
At Brightex LED, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, please read our policy below. We comply with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
1. Your Statutory Rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to return goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you also have the right to cancel most online orders within 14 calendar days of receiving them, for any reason, without needing to provide a justification.
2. Eligibility for Returns
- You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return.
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a fully resalable condition.
- Items that have been installed, used, or are missing original packaging may not be eligible for a full refund.
- Custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for return unless they are faulty or not as described.
- Consumable items (e.g. bulbs that have been used) are not eligible for return unless defective.

4. Return Shipping Costs
- If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will cover the return shipping cost or arrange a collection.
- We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
5. Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the outcome.
- If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days of approval.
- Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty item.
- Refunds may take additional time to appear depending on your bank or payment provider (typically 3–5 additional working days).
- Partial refunds may be issued where items are returned in a condition that reduces their resale value.
6. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the item and any damage or defect
- A brief description of the issue
We will assess your claim and, where validated, offer a free replacement, repair, or full refund — whichever is most appropriate. Replacements are dispatched at no additional cost to you.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer standard size or colour exchanges. If you ordered the wrong product, please return it (subject to our eligibility criteria above) and place a new order. If you received the wrong item due to our error, we will send a replacement at no cost.
8. Cancellations
You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched. To cancel, email us immediately at info@brightexled.co.uk with your order number. If your order has already been shipped, you will need to follow the standard returns process above.
