Digital Business Analyst
Location: 34 Brindley Road, Manchester, England, M16 9HQ
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
(Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid break)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital
Business Analyst to provide consultancy, analytical, and strategic support
across a range of digital transformation and business improvement projects.
This role requires combining expertise in business analysis, digital
technologies, research, and communication to deliver insights and solutions
that maximise organisational growth and efficiency.
The successful candidate will work with
business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients to identify business
challenges, gather requirements, and recommend data-driven strategies for
digital initiatives and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Strategy
- Assess the functions, objectives, and requirements of the
organisation and identify opportunities for digital transformation. - Evaluate business problems, processes, and systems, and
recommend improvements aligned with strategic goals. - Develop and document business requirements for digital
platforms, applications, and systems. - Provide advice to clients and stakeholders on business
policies, procedures, and markets.
Research & Intelligence
- Collect, analyse, and interpret business and market data to
inform decision-making. - Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to assess
digital initiatives and performance. - Translate complex datasets into clear reports, dashboards, and
recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with clients, partners, and internal teams to identify
needs and align solutions. - Run workshops, presentations, and seminars to gather input and
communicate outcomes. - Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet
user and organisational requirements.
Project & Process Improvement
- Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of new
digital solutions and processes. - Develop business cases for proposed initiatives, including
cost-benefit and risk analysis. - Ensure digital projects are aligned with best practices in
compliance, security, and governance.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Management, Information
Systems, or related field. - Proven experience in business analysis, consulting, or digital
transformation projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to interpret complex business data. - Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder
management, report writing, and presenting. - Knowledge of digital systems, business process improvement, and
project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or similar). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook) and business analysis tools. - Ability to balance strategic insight with practical
implementation.
